People are not a diagnosis or list of symptoms. We view people as a human who has had impactful experiences, who has tried to manage and deal with those experiences the best way they can, and is now looking for some help with that

Individual Therapy

Accepting new clients!

Individual therapy can be a bit daunting at times, but can be well worth it! We will first identify what is happening in your life you would rather not have happen anymore, then explore and understand the context of your life these challenges evolved from. We will explore your history together to understand how you made sense of your experiences at the time, and therefore how they come together to make you, you. Both your strengths and difficulties.

Supervision

Individual & Group

Currently accepting new supervisees

If you are a clinician seeking supervision, Nikki is a Board Approved Supervisor and would love to work with you to hone your skills and thrive as a clinician! Nikki unashamedly gets excited talking all things EMDR and psychology. She loves to work with a supervisee to explore challenges and teach skills and guiding principles which can be applied to present and future challenges. Supervision sessions will have a strong trauma-informed lens to understand the impact of life experiences on an individual, and how we can use this information for successful treatment outcomes.

Group Supervision

Group supervision is a great way to learn about a variety of presentations and connect with other clinicians. Groups will allocate 30-minutes for each clinician to present a case to be discussed by the group.

Please note: Nikki is an EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA) Accredited Practitioner working towards being an EMDRAA Accredited Consultant, but is not quite a consultant… yet. Supervision with Nikki will permit you to log the time as Peer Supervision professional development, but not as consultation hours with EMDRAA. But I’m working on it! Watch this space!
